BULK BILLING PRACTICE
Medicare Bulk Billing Update
Effective from 1 November 2025
Maria Clinic is pleased to announce that we are participating in the updated Medicare bulk billing initiative.
What This Means for You:
Starting 1 November 2025, the following services will be fully bulk billed for all patients with an active Medicare card:
General consultations
Care plans
Mental health care
Health assessments
Previously, bulk billing was limited to:
Children under 16
Patients with a Commonwealth concession card
Under the new initiative, all Medicare-eligible patients will benefit from bulk billing for the services listed above.
Please note: Some procedures and specific services may still incur out-of-pocket fees if they are not covered under Medicare bulk billing initiative.

BULK BILLING
Our practice will begin bulk billing from 1st November 2025 as the new changes to Medicare are introduced. You will no longer be charged a fee for most consultations.
MARIA CLINIC IS A TRAINING PRACTICE
This practice has been accredited as being suitable for the training of those doctors intending to become general practitioners.

Maria Clinic Casino has QML Pathology collection centre running from the clinic. QML Pathology can process any pathology request form. They are currently open 7:30am to 3:30pm weekdays.
Maria Clinic Casino is a certified Covid-19 Vaccination Hub. Patients can get their Covid-19 Vaccination here at the clinic. We have Pfizer, and Peadiatric (5-12 years) Pfizer vaccines available. Click the picture below to book online.

DID YOU KNOW? You can now have your consult via telephone or video call. All patients are able to access this service.
The GP will then phone you as close to your appointment time as possible. Please have your phone on and be ready to have your consultation. If the GP decides you need to be seen at the surgery, or have testing, they can arrange that over the phone. Scripts can be sent directly to the chemist for you. You can book a telehealth appointment online through Hotdocs.
